History, Affiliations and Rankings
The University of Law is one of the oldest running private educational institutions in the United Kingdom. It is a renowned provider of Law degrees and education to international and national students. Although the University of Law was established in 1962, its roots can be traced back to 1876 with the presence of The Law Society School of Law and the leading tutorial firm: Gibson & Weldon. In 1962, the two collaborated to form the College of Law. It was then in 2012, that the College of Law gained the title of the University and hence, was renamed as the University of Law. It also has strong ties with several barristers' chambers and collaborates with 90 of the UK's top 100 law firms, many of whom send their attorneys and trainees to The University of Law exclusively. The institution also has international ties in the commercial and legal fields. It also has international ties with a variety of educational institutions. The British Council, the University of Reading, the University of Exeter, the University of Liverpool, the University of Chester, and many others are among them. In THE National Student Survey of 2021, ULaw is placed at #7 with an overall student satisfaction of 84.97%. The University is also rated five stars by QS World University Rankings.

The University of Law has campuses in around 12 cities in the UK as well as one in Hong Kong and Berlin too. The university provides a wide range of legal and business programmes at all levels of study, from undergraduate to postgraduate, in all fields of law and business. Professional development, criminology, policing, and politics qualifications are also offered. It is also known for its diploma programs and online learning courses in Law. ULaw has received 5 stars in Teaching, Employability, Online Learning, Academic Development, and Inclusiveness, as well as 4 stars in Specialist Criteria for its LLB and Internationalisation, in addition to an overall 5-star rating as an institution and for the Law subject.
