Pace University was established in 1906 as a one-room Accountancy school in the New York Tribune Building by Charles Ashford Pace and Homer St. Clair Pace. The school began its operation with 13 students only. However, it went on to become Pace Institute and started offering courses in Business Law and Accountancy all across the country. It was granted university status in 1973 by the New York State Board of Regent. Today, Pace University is among the top 9% of the private universities in the United States known for providing the best returns on investment. The University is at the forefront of creating opportunity for 13,600+ diverse individuals in the metropolitan of New York and its motto is aptly justified as "Opportunitas." The university currently holds the accreditation of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The Times Higher Education US Colleges Rankings place Pace University at #337 for the year 2022. 

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

Pace University has 3 campus locations across Westchester County and New York City. There are 100+ future-forward majors, minors, double majors and combined degrees at the Undergraduate level, while 100+ Graduate options, including Professional certificates. International students can also attend Pace University's 600+ Summer Courses, which include short-term courses from Computer Science to Environmental Science to everything in between, available for high-school students as well as for professionals. Students and faculty at Pace University are engaged in innovative research projects, which includes a research grant by National Science Foundation supporting Cybersecurity, a $300,000 laser-scanning microscope, and groundbreaking international environmental projects across a dozen of the University's research centers and labs. Further, a report released by The Equality of Opportunity Project demonstrated that 8.4% of the students who come from poor families became a rich adult after attending Pace University, while 54% fall in the top 20% of the national income percentile. Pace University also features on the Best Colleges lists of top publications, including the likes of The Princeton Review and Forbes. The University has a list of distinguished alumni members, which constitute a global network of 1,55,000+ graduates.
