- The applicant must be under the age of 50
- Must be in Australia at the time of application
- Must have received the first Student visa on the basis of an application sent on or after 5 November 2011
- The applicant must hold an eligible visa
- Must have held a student visa (previous 6 months)
- Obtained a degree certificate in a CRICOS-registered course
- Evidence of health insurance coverage for all the applicants

- After the application has been made, the Australian government will process the visa application
- The applicant will be made aware of the visa outcome. In case the visa is approved, the visa grant number, date of the visa commencement, visa details and other information will be provided to the applicant.
