Eligibility Criteria of Aikyashree 

Here is the eligibility requirement for Aikyashree, according to the scholarship scheme: 

• To be eligible for the pre-matric Scholarship, students must successfully complete their eighth grade. 
• The applicants for the Post Matric scholarship must be in their 10th grade and enrolled in 11th or 12th-grade courses. 
• Students in the eleventh grade and above are eligible for the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship. 
• Students who study Hindi and receive high grades are eligible for the West Bengal Hindi Scholarship Programme. 
• Only female students are eligible for the West Bengali Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship. 

Selection Procedure

The Aikyashree Scholarship is available to 2 types of students first is the Applicants that are new to the scholarship, Applicants to the renewal scholarship

• For Fresh scholarship: Student candidature for the New Scholarship shall be determined solely based on subject and merit to the financial allowance provided by the State Government.
• For Renewal: Only students who received a 50% or higher on their prior exam will be taken into consideration for the renewal scholarship by the organisation.

Application Procedure

For the Aikyashree application process to continue, students must do the following:

• Visit the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation’s (WBMDFC) official website.
• Click on the “Aikyashree Scholarship” tab.
• Click on the “New Registration” button.
• Select the district of your institute.
• Enter your personal details, such as Your date of birth, your name, guardian’s name, email address, mobile number, and bank account number.
• Upload the required documents, such as your Aadhaar card, income certificate, fee receipt, previous year’s mark sheet, residential certificate, and community certificate.
• Click on the “Submit” button.

Application process for Renewal 

Here are the steps on how to renew the Aikyashree Scholarship in West Bengal:

• Visit the official website of the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC).
• Click on the “Aikyashree Scholarship” tab.
• Click on the “Renew Application” button.
• Enter your Application ID and Date of Birth.
• An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and proceed to the next step.
• Check your personal details and make sure that they are correct.
• If your bank account details have changed, you can update them in this step.
• Click on the “Submit” button.

Renewal date of Aikyashree Scholarship

Students who were awarded the West Bengal Minority Scholarship the previous year are eligible to apply for the Aikyashree Scholarship Renewal. On August 15, 2022, the Aikyashree Scholarship online renewal application process opened. 

The Aikyashree Scholarship Renewal Application must be submitted by October 31, 2022, to be considered.  

How to retrieve Application Id and Password?

The specific ways to recover your Aikyashree application ID or password are shown below for students’ reference:

• View the Aikyashree Scholarship’s official website 
• Select the Student Login link
• On the login screen, click the Forgot User ID/Password option
• Select the Bank Account Number/Application ID, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number, Institution District, and Scholarship Registration Year.
• The Application ID and Password will be sent via SMS by WBMDFC.

How to Track Application Status

• Visit the WBMDFC website for further details.
• Select the Track Application tab from the navigation bar.
• Select the district, application ID, and birthdate following that.
• Enter the captcha code when it appears on the screen.
