XAT Exam Syllabus (2024): Subject-Wise Syllabus

The XLRI prescribed the XAT syllabus for 2024. It comprises five subjects – Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. The exam has one unique section – Decision Making. The XAT 2024 syllabus will be released on January 7, 2024. The below table defines the five sections of the XAT 2024 syllabus along with the number of questions, marks, and time allotted for each section.

Section 5: Essay Writing Test

For the XAT exam essay topics are written on abstract ideas. The Essay Test in XAT has been restarted after three years. It was removed in the year 2019. XAT exam essay topics are also used in the WAT process by MBA Colleges.
