The XLRI prescribed the XAT syllabus for 2024. It comprises five subjects – Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Section 5: Essay Writing Test

For the XAT exam essay topics are written on abstract ideas. The Essay Test in XAT has been restarted after three years. It was removed in the year 2019. XAT exam essay topics are also used in the WAT process by MBA Colleges.

Who conducts the XAT exam In India?

XLRI is responsible for organizing the XAT Exam in India.

What is the weightage of the sections in the XAT Exam?

All the sections in the XAT Exam Quantitative Ability have maximum weightage, i.e. 28 marks, Verbal and Logical Ability consists of 26 marks, General Knowledge comprises of 25 marks and Decision Making carries 22 marks.
