XAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for the XAT 2024 exam may vary according to the nationality, education, age and program chosen by the candidate. Check the points briefly listed below.

👉NRI and foreign nationals are eligible for the exam.

👉Candidates are also eligible to apply for the examination. 

👉Nationals can apply for XLRI admissions through GMAT scores.

👉There is no upper age limit for citizens of India to apply for the XAT examination in 2024. 

👉Candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree to apply for the exam.

XAT Eligibility Criteria – Academic Qualification and Marks

👉Applicants must possess a three-year Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university in any discipline.

👉Those who are in their final year of graduation and can present their mark sheet and bachelor’s degree certificate by the end of the admission year are also eligible to apply for XAT 2024.

Who is Not Eligible for the XAT 2024 Examination?

Candidates without a bachelor’s degree or equivalent as specified in the deadline are ineligible for XAT 2024. Also, candidates with a degree from non-recognized institutions are not eligible. Candidates who have scored below the required percentile in the previous year of the XAT examination or have an invalid GMAT score are not eligible. 

Furthermore, candidates must fulfil the required document submission by the given deadline, otherwise, their application will be invalid or rejected. Lastly, individuals who mistakenly provide incorrect information are also disqualified from application acceptance. Some more guidelines for XAT 2024 are listed briefly below: 

✅Graduates with a two-year bachelor’s degree from the 1980s.

✅Individuals who do not pay their registration fees on time.

✅Applicants whose last year of coursework won’t end by June 2024.

✅Applicants who received their degree from an unacknowledged university.

What is the last date to apply for XAT 2024?

The exam date for XAT 2024 is January 7, 2024. Interested parties may sign up and complete the online XAT application form 2024. The deadline for XAT 2024 enrollment is November 30, 2023. Since the XAT is accepted by more than 800 B-schools in India for MBA and PGDM programs, candidates seeking an MBA must take the test.

What is the cut-off for XAT 2024?

For male engineering applicants applying to the PGDM-HRM course, the anticipated overall XAT 2024 cutoff is the 93 percentile; for female engineering students, it is the 91 percentile. Male applicants who are not engineers could need to meet at least 90 percentile, while female applicants must meet at least 88 percentile.
