1513: Juan Ponce de Leon
Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon reached the northern end of the Bahamas on March 27, 1513.

1782: Charles Watson-Wentworth
Charles Watson-Wentworth became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

1809: Battle of Ciudad Real
The combined force of the Franco-Polish army defeated the Spanish in the Battle of Ciudad Real.

2014: Peace accord 
The Philippines signed a peace accord with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the largest Muslim Rebel Group. It led to the ending of decades of conflict on March 27, 2014.

2016: Suicide blast 
There was a suicide blast in Lahore’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park. It claimed over 70 lives, and almost 300 people were left injured.
