1513: Christian II became King
Christian II succeeded Johan I as Danish and Norwegian King.

1869 Elizabeth Cady Stanton becomes 1st woman to testified
Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Women’s Rights Activist became the 1st woman to testify before US Congress.

1926: Second German Government
2nd German Government of Luther began.

1930: Lone Ranger broadcasted
1st radio broadcast of Lone Ranger was broadcasted.

1981: Ronald Reagen inaugurated
 Ronald Reagan took office as the 40th President of the United States of America.

1987: Robert A. Litchfield arrested
Bank robber Robert Allen Litchfield arrested at Lake Tahoe.

1988: Skating World Record
Andre Hoffman skated a world record of 1,500 m in 1 minute 52 seconds and 6 milliseconds.

1989: George H.W. Bush Inaugural Speech
George H.W. Bush gave his first inauguration speech as 41st US president.

1990: Columbia 10 returned to Earth
US 64th manned space mission STS 32 also known as Columbia 10 returned from space to Earth.

1991: Les Miserables at LA
Les Miserables opened at Pantages Theatre, LA.

1993: Presidency of Bill Clinton Began
Bill Clinton took office as the 42nd US President.

1993: First African American and Woman at Inauguration
Maya Angelou became the 1st African American woman to recite a poem “On the Pulse of Morning” at the Presidential inauguration of Bill Clinton, the 42nd US president.

1996: Australia won World Series Cup
Australia defeated Sri Lanka 2-0 to win cricket’s World Series Cup. 

1998: L.A Confidential won Best Film
L.A. Confidential won the third Critics’ Choice Movie Awards as the Best Film.

2001: President of Philippines expelled in EDSA II Revolution
President of Philippines Joseph Estrada removed from position and succeeded by Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in the EDSA II Revolution.

2006: High School Musical Became Disney’s Most Successful TV Movie
TV Movie High School Musical starring Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens, became Disney Channel’s most successful TV movie.

2007: The Departed Won 
The Departed directed by Martin Scorsese won the 12th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

2009: Barack Obama Became the President
Barack Obama took office as the 44th President of the United States of America. He was the first African American US President.

2017: Trump and Mike Pence Inaugurated
Donald Trump took office as the 45th President of the United States of America. Mike Pence takes office as the 48th Vice President.
