After UK and US, Dubai has the highest Indian community

The UK Immigration Statistics stated that nearly 118,000 Indian students have been granted student visas for the academic year 2022. This number represents an increase of almost 89% from the prior year making Indian community the highest in number. Similarly, applications for visas to the USA from India also increased as Indian students received 77,799 F1 visas, according to the most recent State Department data.

According to data from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, a total of 32 million tourists arrived in this city in 2021. Indian community is responsible for the majority number in Dubai, exceeding 10 million visitors. Apart from residents of India, the residents of Oman is 9 million and 83,000 foreign visitors, 8 million people from Saudi Arabia, while 23,000 from Great Britain, which has six million people. The statistics also shows that Americans, Pakistanis, French, Germans, Russians, and Iranians also made up a sizeable portion of the tourists to Dubai, with 395,000, 349,000, 253,000, 253,000, 247,000, and 13,000 each, respectively.

Indian students are getting attracted to the Emirate city as many higher education institutes have set up their branches in Dubai to provide the world’s best education to the students in the Emirate. Many other factors like affordable fee structure, scholarship options and security.
