Established in the year 1882, Waseda University is a private institute offering quality education in Japan. In 1890, Waseda University founded the faculty of Literature, followed by the founding of the faculty of Education in 1903. After suffering the after-effects of World War II, the university re-started in 1949. Now, this university has built strong affiliations with leading global organizations such as Korea University, Italy Japan Foundation, University of Bonn, and Peking University. Waseda University ranks #801 in Times Higher Education 2022 and #520 in the US News & World Report 2022.

Waseda University provides quality education in the areas of political science, economics, law, science, and international research and education. This university also provides the English Language program as a part of its academic curriculum. The world-class campus of Waseda University provides a vibrant and secure academic atmosphere to the staff and students. Accomplishments and Alumni 

In 2020, Waseda Business School was awarded the AACSB international accreditation, after the EQUIS accreditation was awarded in 2019. This makes Waseda Business School one of the two business schools in Japan that have been accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS. The notable alumni of the institute are Yasuo Fukuda, a politician, Haruki Murakami, a writer, and Shizuka Arakawa, a figure skater.

The institute has a total of 47,900 students out of which 39,300 are undergraduates, 8,500 are postgraduates at the institute with about 5,500 academic faculties. The institute has about 8,000 international students on campus. The visiting companies on the campus are Zalando, Adivery, and Mercedes-Bank.
