Founded in 1971 and located in Bavaria, Germany, Munich University of Applied Sciences is considered among the leading public institutions in Germany. It is the largest university in Bavaria and the second largest in Germany for Applied Sciences. A multifaceted university offering practice-oriented courses, MUAS educates a talented community of students and researchers at the heart of one of the bustling business centres of Germany. Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

The university consists of 7 Colleges spread across three campuses in Lothstrasse, Passing and Karlstrasse which offer highly specialized technical courses. The university offers options of 85 Bachelor's and Master’s programs as well as research and PhD opportunities. It has 14 specialized Departments spanning disciplines of Architecture, Engineering, Applied Science and Mechatronics, Geoinformatics, Business, Applied Social Sciences and Tourism amongst others with close to 2,000 awarded faculty and staff members contributing to the growth of the students. A majority of courses at MUAS come with an included semester for internship or work placements. Further, the university boasts of a career centre, continuing education centre, best-in-class scientific labs and research centres on campus. Munich University of Applied Sciences is Bavaria’s largest and Germany’s second-largest University for applied sciences. In terms of research, MUAS is a coordinator/or partner of a number of international projects in the areas of teaching and research. These are faculty research projects including, Erasmus+, DAAD projects and EU research projects.
