Hertfordshire International College was established in 1952 as Hatfield College of Technology and was later given the title of university in 1992. It is a contemporary Pathway College for entry into Bachelor’s and Master’s programs at the University of Hertfordshire, located mostly in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, approximately 35 kilometres north of London. Currently, Hertfordshire International College offers a wide spectrum of courses in major streams, due to which the demand for admission to the College has increased. The teaching is done using examples from new practice and new research at Hertfordshire International College. The college partners with the Association of Commonwealth Universities, which addresses 535 colleges from 37 Commonwealth nations. Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

Hertfordshire International College has two campuses, De Havilland and College Lane, which are spread over the sprawling campus. The campuses provide on-campus accommodation to the students and are equipped with many first class facilities like gym, central centre and social space. It also has sports facilities including a swimming pool. De Havilland Campus was opened in the year 2005 and has been provided with a computer centre, library and resource centre. The university has several educational spaces including a creative Art gallery, Biology laboratory, Aerospace lab, simulation ward, observatory and a Law building. In addition, several cafes, restaurants, departmental stores and chemist shops are located near the complex. Public transport is easily available from the institute. The campus has a peaceful learning environment. Hertfordshire International College offers pathway programs which sets the foundation to take up programs at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
