Origin of M3M Foundation Lakshya Scholarship Scheme

The Lakshya Scholarship Scheme is part of the Lakshya Programme, an initiative launched by the M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the M3M Group — a major real estate and business brand in India. M3M Foundation was established in 2019 by the M3M Group with a mission to support social development and sustainable impact across India. Its work focuses on education, health, livelihoods, environmental conservation, and empowerment of marginalised communities.

The programme was conceptualised a year ago to support the country’s talented youngsters in the fields of arts and sports. The scholarship event was fully dedicated to ‘Lakshya’ scholars of the foundation. 

Radhika Keshari, a ‘Lakshya’ scholar who has set a world record for being the ‘Youngest Professional Indo-Western Music Performer’ and entered her name in the golden book of ‘World Records’, delivered an outstanding performance at the event.

Benefits

Here are some of the benefits of the Lakshya Scholarship Scheme:

1. M3M Foundation Lakshya Scholarship is going to cover around 7 sports games for training facilitation.
2. The foundation will make accessible the equipment and resources that are required to offer training to the selected sportsmen.
3. The beneficiaries will be able to become role models for their society.

Established in 2019 by the renowned M3M India group, M3M Foundation aims to bring development across all sections of society by empowering them to plan, implement, monitor, and contribute to sustainable community development projects. The areas covered by this foundation are education, environmental conservation, health, and livelihoods. 

The foundation ensures holistic growth and supports innovative ideas, numerous government initiatives and proactive steps in the developmental regime.

Last November, M3M Foundation awarded a total of 556 scholarships to students from different categories based on their academic excellence under the ‘Saakshar Scholarship’. The scholarships were announced on National Education Day.

The Foundation had obtained 1,557 applications from 26 states and union territories across the country in the categories including foundation, preparatory, middle, secondary, senior secondary, bachelor’s, and master’s. 

The applications of 556 students were shortlisted in line with their academic credentials. A total of 56 girls received lifetime education support, while 44 girls from the families of construction workers had been identified for the same, under the M3M foundation’s initiative Buniyaad.

Eligibility Criteria

Step 2: On the website, you will find information regarding the foundation. Take the time to carefully read through the details about the Lakshya scholarship. 

Step 3: Next, locate and click on the application link within the dialogue box. 

Step 4: A new page will appear, displaying the application form. 

Step 5: Fill in the necessary information within the application form. 

Step 6: Ensure that you have all the required documents ready for submission. 

Step 7: Upload the necessary documents and complete the application process to successfully apply for the scholarship.

Test

The M3M Foundation aims to offer scholarships or financial aid to a limited number of recipients based on a set beneficiary limit. Approximately 13 individuals are chosen as beneficiaries and receive support in the form of training and preparation in key areas such as arts and sports.

Syllabus 

The Lakshya scholarship offers support and recognition in two fields: Arts and Sports.  Under this scholarship program, various sports disciplines are covered, including Kabaddi, Pole Vault, Football, Wrestling, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Lawn Tennis. This means that talented individuals excelling in any of these sports have the opportunity to receive financial assistance, training support, and other benefits provided by the Lakshya Scholarship. By encompassing a diverse range of sports, the scholarship aims to identify and nurture promising athletes in these specific disciplines, allowing them to pursue their passion and reach their full potential in their respective sports.
