What is CG PET?

The CG PET is a state-level test that is administered on paper. JEE Main marks are taken into consideration for BE/BTech admissions. Every year, about 15,000 candidates show up for the CG PET. CG PET Application Form 2023

The online CG PET application form was available on CPEB’s official website. The last date to complete the registration process for Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test was 9 June 2023. CG PET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before candidates proceed to complete the registration process, it is mandatory that they ensure their eligibility according to CG PET 2023 eligibility criteria. These requirements are decided by the exam-conducting body to filter the ideal candidates for the exam. Keep in mind that you need to show the documents to prove your eligibility at the time of document verification in the further selection process.

Qualifying Examination	Candidates must have earned a 10+2 diploma or its equivalent, with math and physics as core subjects, and chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or technical vocational courses as optional subjects. Candidates for the BTech Biotechnology programme should have studied biology rather than math during their 10+2 years.
Pass Percentage	(1) Candidates must have received at least 45% in each subject in Class 10+2 or the equivalent. (2) Candidates from Chhattisgarh who are in the reserved category must have received at least a 40% on their Class 10+2 exam. (3) Candidates who received grace points will be regarded as eligible if they achieve the required pass percentage in each subject. It’s vital to note that while calculating the overall % for admissions, grace marks won’t be taken into account.
Domicile Requirements	Candidates must provide documentation proving their residency. As evidence of their residency, they must be prepared with the domicile certificate. During counselling and admissions, this will be necessary.
Age Limit	To be eligible, candidates must not be older than 30 on July 1, 2023. Candidates from the reserved category receive a 3-year relaxation.  By December 31, 2023, the age requirement is 17 years old.
