Bengaluru saw a meeting of 26 opposition parties ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. All opposition and non-BJP party leaders from 26 parties had come together for a second round of meetings to stitch a united alliance against the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge chaired this closed-door meeting on 18th July 2023. It was attended by Sonia Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, Rahul Gandhi, as well as Nitish Kumar. The meeting saw over 50 leaders from different parties taking part in this informal discussion.
