The modern overseas education market in India is expanding rapidly. Now more Indian students are choosing foreign countries to study abroad.

For the past few years, the overseas education sector in India has grown a lot. As per the Ministry of External Affairs, more than 1.4 million students from India are completing their higher education abroad. Not to mention, the study abroad programs have also gained a lot of traction amongst students as they have realized the education quality of overseas universities. Specifically catered courses, global-level education, effective career opportunities, and exposure to different cultures are some of the most famous reasons why many students are choosing study abroad programs

As per reports stated by RedSteer, anglophone countries are the top options for students who want to study abroad. Numerous anglophone countries such as the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand are offering high-quality education systems to international students. Not to mention, the ROI, work opportunities, and laws are also highly favourable for international students. 

During COVID-19, the study abroad sector in India was hindered due to the restrictions imposed by most countries for international travellers. But now that the COVID-19 pandemic has long gone, and the sector has bounded back effectively and immediately, especially in India. Many study-abroad destinations in the world are taking extra measures to ensure that international students can again enrol in universities. The government of these countries are also enhancing the application process so that Indian and other international students don’t need to wait for a long time. For instance, the United Kingdom has started super-priority and priority visa processes for Indian and other international students. The UK has also issued record-breaking Indian students to their universities. Apart from the UK, the USA, Australia and Canada are also attracting international students.
