Eligibility Criteria

Before going for a course in Statistical Engineering or a related field, it is important to make yourself familiar with the essential criteria that you need to fulfil in order to become eligible for pursuing the course. While the required criteria may vary among different universities, the basic eligibility requirements consist of the following:

  • The applicant should have passed their 12th boards with a minimum 55% of marks in aggregate and should have studied mathematics or statistics as the main subject
  • For pursuing a master’s level course, the applicant should have an undergraduate degree in the same or any related field with the required percentage of marks.

For applicants who wish to pursue their degree in a field related to Statistical Engineering from a university abroad, they will need to fulfil some essential criteria in addition to those mentioned above. These requirements include the following:

  • The applicant should have a valid score in any of the accepted English language proficiency exams such as the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE
  • For master’s and higher level courses, they would also need to submit a valid GRE score
