The Higher Education Authority (HEA) issues the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship. The government of Ireland offers around 60 scholarships to meritorious students for a period of 1 year to study at the graduate, postgraduate, or PhD levels in Irish higher education institutions.

  • Deadline:  Friday 26 March 2022.
  • Apply: the GOI-IES application portal
  • Benefits: €10,000 (INR 9.20 lacs)  stipend for 1 year of study and fully funded tuition and other registration costs at a higher education institution.

The Walsh Fellowship

Under the Walsh Fellowship, around 35 scholarships are awarded to students working on research projects majorly in fields of food, crops, agriculture, and rural development. Applications from individual graduate students are not accepted and the Programme does not fund non-research postgraduate programs.
