Under the leadership of Bajirao I, the Marathas defeated the Mughals in the Battle of Delhi.

A group of suspected militants attacked the Indian administered Kashmir in which one person got shot and killed on March 28, 2014.

1979: Vote of No-confidence against James Callaghan 

A vote of no confidence was passed by the British House of Commons against James Callaghan by 1 vote, which led to a general election on March 28, 1979.

1994: Killing of Inkatha Freedom Party Protestors
A security guard of the African National Congress killed dozens of protestors of the Inkatha Freedom Party. 

2005: Earthquake in northern Sumatra
