The death of approximately 50 people and around 5,000 families were affected due to a  landslide in Gangtok on June 9, 1997.

Serbian Prince Michael III was assassinated on June 9, 1868. Further, the incident derailed the Balkan League’s plans for a coordinated rebellion against the Ottomans and destroyed the league.

Italy was under the rule of Benito Mussolini. Declaration of the war gave rise to World War II on June 9, 1940.

She has received the Academy Award for Best Actress. She received recognition for her role as Nina Sayers in the 2010 thriller Black Swan.

She is the daughter of Anil Kapoor. She is an Indian actress receiving the National Filmfare awards. Also, she appeared in the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list based on her income and popularity.
