Fully-funded Postgraduate Degree in Thailand – Ministry of Education Invites Applications

Applications are invited from students for a fully-funded postgraduate degree in science in the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) in Thailand by the Ministry of Education. Indian students are offered these scholarships under the ‘Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Post-graduate Scholarship Program for Non-ASEAN Applicants’ for pursuing a Master’s degree program at the institute.

The scholarship will be covering tuition and other academic fees, round trip airfare, accommodation, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance, 6 weeks refresher courses etc. The master’s program, along with the refresher courses is currently scheduled to commence from June 2021.

Who Can Apply to the Fully-funded Postgraduate Degree in Thailand?

Students who are less than 30 years of age and are experienced in scientific laboratory research can apply for this program. Students from the following streams are eligible:

• Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, and Environmental Sciences
• Medicine and Medical Technology
• Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Other related fields

The other essential criteria for application include a minimum CGPA of 2.15 on a 4.0 GPA scale, along with a valid score in TOEFL or IELTS. A statement of purpose is also required from the applicants, explaining why they are interested in the program.

The scholarship will be provided for pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology and Chemical Sciences. The External Scholarship Division, Ministry of Education will nominate a total of 5 applicants to the CGI for this scholarship.

How to Apply?

Candidates who are interested in this program can apply for the scholarship on the official Sakshat website within 15th October, 2020. The candidates will need to upload scanned copies of their educational certificates, TOEFL or IELTS score, filled application form, research experience etc. while submitting their application.
