AICTE PG Scholarship 2023

A new scholarship has been launched by the All India Council for Technical Education and is offered in particular to those who are currently enrolled in post-graduate programs. About AICTE PG Scholarship

Candidates with a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) score who are studying in any AICTE-recognized institution are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

The official notice by AICTE states “AICTE in order to ensure the development of technical education in India awards Post Graduate Scholarship of Rs. 12,400/- per month to full-time GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted to AICTE approved postgraduate programs in AICTE approved Institutions/ University Departments.”

The scholarship will be awarded for a duration of 24 months or for the full duration of the course (i.e. starting from the commencement of classes up to the date of completion of the classes), whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who fall under the OBC (Creamy Layer) category are not considered eligible for this scholarship program. However, candidates belonging to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category can apply for the scholarship by submitting the required certificates which should have been issued not more than one year ago along with their application for the scholarship.

The eligibility criteria for the candidates applying for the scholarship include the following:

• The candidate should have a valid GATE or GPAT score at the time of their admission.
• The candidate should have taken admitted as a full-time scholar.
• The candidate should be admitted to AICTE-approved Institutions / University Departments.
• The candidate should be admitted to the AICTE-approved programs viz. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, and Master of Pharmacy programs.

AICTE Scholarship Benefits

The postgraduate students who take advantage of the organization’s scholarship programme will be eligible for a wide range of advantages. The students will first be able to receive a scholarship from the start of their classes until the day of their class completion, or for exactly 24 months, so they can go about their daily lives without worrying about managing finances, However, if they are receiving financial aid from another scholarship, they are not eligible to apply for this award. The candidates would get Rs. 12400 per month for a period of two years or till the course has been successfully completed.
