Acsenda School of Management is a private post-secondary institution that offers professional education in Business Administration and Hospitality Management in the bustling business district of Vancouver. Established in 2004 when the Sprott Shaw Community College (SSC) decided to expand, Acsenda received its present name in 2013, to become the Acsenda School of Management. Offering curriculums incorporated with learning certifications, the Institute is particularly known for its international focus, small class sizes, diverse community of students and industry-focused courses. Acsenda School of Management is designated by the Equality Quality Assurance (EQA) and is also affiliated with EduCanada, the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT) and the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
Acsenda School of Management is strategically located in the business district in Vancouver, British Columbia in one of the city's most prestigious buildings and centers of high economic activity. Acsenda offers two undergraduate degrees with several concentrations, which include 40 concentrations in Bachelor in Business Administration and 39 concentrations in the Bachelor of Hospitality Management. Some of the specializations include - International Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, and Information Systems. Acsenda also partners with professional associations to offer Professional Pathway programs that are business-oriented and offer practical market skills. The two degree programs offered at Acsenda are 4-year programs. However, with the choice of taking courses year-round, students can complete their degree programs within 2.5 to 3 years. Further, courses at Acsenda are integrated with learning certifications, so you will graduate as a professional with the necessary credentials.
Accomplishments and Alumni
Academics at Acsenda School of Management prepares students for the global business climate. The Institute is a member of the Business Graduates Association (BGA) which strengthens the business education offered at Acsenda. The School awards undergraduate degrees with the consent of the Minister of Advanced Education for British Columbia under the Degree Authorization Act. As such, degrees from the Institute are globally recognized. Further, a research paper published by the Director of the Hospitality Management at Acsenda, titled "Bede -Travels with the River Gypsies of Bangladesh” was recently shortlisted for the Journey for Lifetime Award by the Royal Geography Society - IBG and BBC Radio 4. Louis Blaise, another Professor at Acsenda School of Management, is a technology and project management expert, has created and delivered content for 550 TV show episodes and presented to 50,000+ audience in the last 35 years.

The student population at Acsenda School comprises international students from more than 43 countries. The School fosters a vibrant and social atmosphere in which students are encouraged to interact with peers and to expand their professional networks. With a variety of student societies and clubs to engage in, students get better prepared for the corporate ecosystem. Acsenda School of Management also has a Career Services division, that connects students with organizations helping them get their dream job, along with providing them personalized preparation for the professional world through Career Counselling, and equipping them with resources relevant for the job market in Canada.
