The following are the eligibility requirements for a Luxemburg post study work visa:
- You must already have a residence permit for students in Luxembourg, or
- You have a residence permit from the first member state and are on a mobility scheme to Luxembourg
- You must have a genuine will to look for an employment opportunity
- You must have passed your diploma, bachelor’s, Masters, or research thesis in a PhD
- You must hold no criminal record in the country
Documents Required For Luxembourg Post Study Work Visa
The following are the documents required:
- Copy for your valid passport
- Criminal record extract from Luxembourg of the recent time
- A valid health and travel insurance in Luxembourg proof
- Proof of successful completion of the educational program
- Proof of the availability of enough funds to cover your living expenses while in Luxembourg. The proof can be a bank certificate, a certificate of scholarship, or proof of financial support if taken
- 80 EUR insurance fee paid receipt
- Power of attorney if asked

Application Procedure For Luxembourg Post Study Work Visa
The following is the application procedure :
- You have to contact in writing to the General Department of Immigration to apply for a residence permit to search for employment
- The application must be submitted 30 days before the expiry of your student residence permit or mobility scheme
- If the proof of program completion is not available at the time of application then the students obtain the application submission receipt for temporary permission to stay in the country for 3 months, until their post-study work visa is approved
- The processing time of the application is 90 days. But if there is an issue in the document verification this deadline will be not considered as the student will be granted time to submit the correct documents.
