What To Do If Visa Is Delayed?

But if the candidate applies for a new visa after the expiry of the old visa then the candidate will lose these rights.

• The candidates might be required to attend an interview
• The documents submitted need to be verified

What to do in case of a Delay in Visa Application?

The things that need to be followed in case of delay in visa application. These include the following:

1. You may Call or write a letter to the Home Office – The candidates can write or call the Home Office to find out the reason behind the delay in application. The candidates will have to explain that their application should have been dealt with by now and also describe the impact the delay is having on them. 
2. You can File a Complaint – If the Home Office still doesn’t resolve the issue and accelerate the decision process, then the candidates can make a formal complaint. 
3. Write a letter to the state MP – If the home office does not take any action then the candidates can write a letter to the state MP. The MP has the right to make inquiries to the Home Office on behalf of their constituents, and they can raise a complaint with the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman
