Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be a final year student enrolled in a UG course, pursuing a 5-year integrated M-Tech, UGPC or M.Sc.
- The applicant must have a score of 8 in CPI or a CGPA of 10 on the proficiency test.

- INR 70,000 per month for the first 2 years

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria :
- Indian nationals pursuing regular full-time Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech or Master of Science in Engineering at IISC Bangalore.
- Should have an annual family income of less than INR 6 lakh.
- Should have a valid GATE/JEST/JAM score.
- Should not be availing any other scholarship/fellowship.
Award Amount:
- INR 1.25 lakh per year as tuition and sustenance fee.
Department of Science & Technology (DST) Scholarship
The DST Scholarship is for students studying Science, Math or Engineering in the first year. They must also have a spectacular academic record in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths specifically.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must have a KVPY/INSPIRE Fellowship.
- The applicant must have excellent communication skills in English Language.

GARP Funding

Terms and Conditions
- In addition to the scholarships mentioned earlier, IISc Bangalore also offers scholarships from various industry partners, including GE, INFOSYS, IBM, HP, TATA, PHILIPS, BELL LAB, and MICROSOFT. These scholarships are available to deserving students based on their academic merit and research potential.
- Upon admission to the M Tech/ M Des programs, students are required to agree and assure that they will complete the entire program. If a student is forced to leave the program midway due to unavoidable circumstances, they must refund the entire scholarship amount they received before leaving the Institute.
- Students who are receiving a salary from their employers or sponsors are not eligible for IISc Bangalore scholarships/fellowships.
