The scholarship program is offered by the Astral Foundation, which is the CSR arm of Astral Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of plumbing and drainage systems. The scholarship aims to support the needy and deserving students who cannot afford quality education due to the high fee structure, encouraging them to overcome financial limitations and pursue academic excellence and career opportunities.
Astral Foundation Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria
To claim the Astral Foundation Scholarship, students need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- They must have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 10
- The applicant must have a minimum of 50% in Class 12 or diploma.
- The applicant must be pursuing any 3-year graduation course.
- They must have an annual family income of less than INR 5 lakhs
- The applicant must be a resident of Hosur Taluka or Krishnagiri District (Tamil Nadu) (preference will be given).

Astral Foundation Scholarship: Application Process
To apply for the Astral Foundation Scholarship, candidates must visit Vidyasaarathi or UniStop portal and register by following these steps:
- Visit the Vidyasaarathi portal.
- Create an account by registering yourself in the scholarship portal
- Log in to your account and select the Astral Foundation Scholarship you want to apply for.
- Read all the instructions carefully before proceeding to the application
- Fill out an application with the asked details
- Upload all the documents mentioned below in a specified format
- After uploading all the documents do crosscheck all documents in the preview
- Submit the application.
Astral Foundation screens the applications based on eligibility criteria and fund availability. The shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview after the initial screening, and the final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the interview and their academic merit. The selected students will receive the scholarship amount directly into their bank accounts.
Astral Foundation Scholarship: Important Dates
The dates for the start and end of the registration process for this scholarship depend on the type of scholarship availed. For students applying for the first time, the registration starts on 1 December 2022 and ends on 31 December 2022.
For renewal scholarships, the registration starts on 1 August 2022 and ends on 3 September 2022.

Students applying for the Astral Foundation Scholarship must have the following documents ready during the application process:
- Proof of identity – Adhaar, PAN, DL, Voter ID.
- Proof of address – Electricity bill, Aadhar, PAN.

The eligibility criteria for the Reliance Foundation scholarship are as follows:
The applicant must be a resident Indian citizen.
The applicant must have a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
The applicant must qualify for an entrance exam such as NEET PG, IN CET, or other state-level exams. Some colleges may also conduct their own entrance tests or interviews for admission.
