KARTET 2023 Important Dates

KARTET 2023 Application Process

Candidates can effortlessly fill out the examination form for Karnataka TET online before the deadline. Make sure you fill in all the details correctly to avoid application rejection and attach the required documents in their format. After everything is done regarding your detail pay the fee for form submission. Here are the steps one can follow for the online process. 

  • The First step is to visit the official online portal. 
  • Click on the “APPLY ONLINE” link and start your application process.
  • You have to pay the fees after registration. 
  • Upload all the scanned documents with your photograph and signature. 
  • After all the details, you need to choose which exam you want to appear for. Primary or Secondary examination. Check your eligibility criteria for the same. 
  • You will get a chance to correct any wrong information in your application. 
  • Read all the details you have entered carefully and then click the “SUBMIT” button. 
  • Take out a print copy of the same for your reference. 

Application Fee 

General candidates have to pay INR 1000 and for SC/ST/PWD candidates it will be INR 500. You can pay through any online source of payment quickly.

KARTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Every exam has its criteria to be fulfilled. Prior to applying, one should know all the details the criteria exam entails and whether he/she is eligible or not. We have curated and shortlisted the eligibility prerequisites for all the interested candidates, i.e., the age requirement, nationality and eligibility criteria for primary and secondary examinations. Nationality

The candidate applying should be a citizen of India and you must fulfil the need of local/non-local mentioned by the authority. 

Age Limit 

You should be 21 years as of January and the maximum age limit is 35 years for the examination. There will be a 5% age relaxation for the Reserved Category candidates that will be your SC/ST/PH category. 

Eligibility for Lower Primary Level 

  • The candidates must have their 10th and 12th standard certificates with at least 45% marks 
  • 4 Years of Bachelor of Education Certificate/ 2 Year Diploma in Education (D.EI.ED)/ 2 Year Diploma in Education (Special Education). 
  • Having completed Graduation BA/B.SC with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates who have already completed a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) are also eligible for Lower Primary Level Teaching. 

Eligibility for Upper Primary Level

  • The candidate should have a graduation degree of BA/B.Sc with at least 50% of marks. 
  • Must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution/university. 
  • Candidates who are appearing for last year’s exam for their Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed)/ BA (ED)/ B.Ed B.sc (ED), (Special Education) with at least 50% marks in BA/B.Sc.

KARTET 2023 Exam Pattern

The examination has two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates have to choose accordingly and prepare for the exam. You should know about the exam pattern to score well. It is always a plus point to have an idea about the structure of subjects and the number of questions and marks each section entails. You will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete it. There is no sort of negative marking rule in this exam, so you can avoid the pressure for the same. The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.

KARTET 2023 Syllabus 

As we know there are two papers to attempt, Paper 1 & 2. So, each paper entails different subjects which one has to prepare for and needs to ensure that they prepare well for the subjects that they are appearing for. It is advised that one should commence their preparation as early as possible because the difficulty level of the said exam lies on the spectrum of moderate to tough. KARTET 2023 Admit Card 

The admit card will be available for the students before the 10 days of the examination. You can download you admit card and take a printout with you. The admit card will entail all the types of details like exam date, exam centre and timings and instructions one has to follow throughout the examination. You must read all the information given on the admit card carefully. 

KARTET 2023 Answer Key 

The answer key is prepared by the official authorities for the candidates who have appeared in the examination. It will have all the answers to the questions asked in the examination. And for the time being, this answer key will help you evaluate the process. The candidates are advised to wait for the results till they are released. 

KARKET 2023 Result 

The results notification will be released on the official website and you will be notified of the same. Make sure you keep your exam details like roll number and other significant details with you till the results are declared. The results will be probably announced after 30-40 days of the examination. So candidates are advised to keep themselves updated with regular notifications. 

KARTET 2023 Selection Process 

The selection process will be done based on your performance. The candidates who clear the exam will be recruited as teachers in the Government Primary Schools from 1 to 5  and also higher primary schools from 6 to 8. The candidates will be examined in both papers and they must clear the papers with the required marks.

FAQs

What is the required application fee one has to pay for the form submission? 

The fees vary category-wise. The general category has to pay INR 1000 for both papers and another category has to pay INR 500 for form submission. The form will be submitted online and you can pay through UPI, Debit or Credit card. 

How much time will candidates get to solve each paper? 

In total, you will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete your paper. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will provide you with the same timings. Make sure you attempt all the questions to score well. 

How will be the exam conducted? 

The exam will be conducted offline with pen and paper but the application forms are to be filled out online.
