Q- Describe a time you made a promise to someone.
A- We encounter circumstances when we must make commitments to other people several times in life. Today, I’d want to discuss a commitment I made to my family while I was still in school. I had told my parents that I would achieve a score of at least 90% on my boards when I was in grade 10.
While other children in my neighbourhood were either bright or above-average, I was always an average student in school, which occasionally made me feel self-conscious. I was also never sure if I would ever be capable of making my parents as proud of and pleased as other parents in our neighbourhood. In order to fulfil my pledge to my parents and to myself, I will demonstrate that I am capable of achieving incredibly well in all areas of life, including academics, and that I am better than my past.
It is simpler to give promises than to keep them, as the proverb goes. Even I had to put forth a lot of effort to uphold this vow. I started by addressing my weaknesses. The most crucial component of achieving my goals was time management, so I created a good schedule with daily time-bound objectives. I had to work all night because it was a difficult task. I eventually began to notice positive results in my school’s term exams and pre-boards. I finally showed up for my class 10th Board examinations after a year of preparation, and I did well. The outcomes were excellent, and I was glad to fulfil my commitment. Even if it wasn’t actually simple to follow this commitment, my quest to achievement has always inspired me.
