IELTS Test Structure

How are Bands Calculated?

1. The average score of the four components, i.e. Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, is divided by 4.

How is the IELTS Reading test marked?

What if my IELTS Reading Band Score isn’t satisfactory?

If you are dissatisfied with your IELTS reading score after the results, you can request an “Enquiry on Outcome” at the test centre where you took the exam. This is a remark process that must be applied for within 6 weeks of the exam date. The EOR fees will be INR 11,625 and are refundable if your result is in a higher band.

Even after the remark, if you do not achieve the desired score, you may repeat the IELTS exam. The IELTS exam can be retaken an unlimited number of times throughout a year (365 days), with a retake exam price ranging from INR 12,000 to INR 15,000.
