A public research university in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China is called Xi’an Jiaotong University. It is a top-tier university with particular expertise in engineering, technology, applied economics, management, and the living sciences. It is a member of the Double First Class University Plan, C9 League, Project 985, and Project 211.

The Xian Jiaotong University Scholarship in China without an IELTS application is currently open. To help highly motivated and committed students to pursue a master’s degree that leads to a doctoral degree, XJTLU offers a variety of scholarships.

There are presently no scholarships available for part-time studies; instead, scholarships are exclusively offered for full-time education. If you’re looking for ways to pay for your doctoral education, you can either submit an application for a scholarship with a sponsored PhD project or an application with your own project.

Scholarship Benefits 

1. A complete scholarship includes a three-year, RMB 240,000 (INR 28.88 Lakh) tuition fee remission and a three-year, RMB 5,000 (INR 60,178) monthly stipend {RMB 180,000 (INR 21.66 Lakh) total value}.

2. A three-year, RMB 240,000 (INR 28.88 Lakh) tuition fee waiver is the only benefit of a fee-only scholarship.

3. A partial tuition-price scholarship provides a three-year, up to 50% tuition fee discount (RMB 120,000 (INR 14.44 Lakh)  total value).

Eligibility Criteria

For candidates who are extremely motivated and committed to pursuing doctoral-level research, XJTLU provides a variety of scholarships. Candidates that meet the requirements may get financial assistance.

Full scholarship recipients must work as a teaching assistant or research assistant as a condition of their grant; fee-only and partial tuition-fee recipients can also apply for these positions and will be compensated according to university norms.

Timeline

There will be two application rounds for each academic year.

Applications must be submitted by 17:00 CST (UTC+8) on October 15 in order to be considered in the first round. The scholarship recipients who are chosen in the first round will be notified in December.

Application Process 

Students can submit an application for a PhD project that is already underway and has financing from the university or outside sources. These projects have a defined supervisory team and a chosen research topic. Until the post is filled, these projects will remain open. The programme often begins on the first day of March, June, September, or December.
