The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship

The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship aims at overseas students (international & EU) studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) who have demonstrated academic excellence in their studies. All overseas students receiving this award will receive a first-year tuition fee waiver worth up to GBP 6,000.

Amount: The scholarship value depends on your IB score:

  • GBP 6,000 fee waiver (a total of £8,000 including the Chancellor’s Scholarship) – for achieving 44 points or higher.
  • GBP 3,000 fee waiver (a total of £5,000 including the Chancellor’s Scholarship) – for achieving 43 points.
  • GBP 1,500 fee waiver (a total of £3,500 including the Chancellor’s Scholarship) – for achieving 43 points.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship, you must:

  • Take assessment as a new first-year overseas fee-paying student
  • Accept a place on a full-time campus-based undergraduate course starting in 2024
  • Achieve an IB score of at least 42 points

Application Process: You do not need to apply separately for this scholarship. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically proceed with it and be notified by email if you receive it upon confirmation of your examination results.

The Global Leaders Scholarship

The Global Leaders Scholarship is offered by the University of Bath School of Management to international students who want to pursue a master’s degree in business or management. There are 45 Global Leaders Scholarships worth GBP 5,000 each, to be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Global Leaders Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an international student (non-EU)
  • Have an offer from the University of Bath School of Management to study one of their eligible full-time taught master’s courses starting in 2024
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and potential

The Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship is another of the prestigious University of Bath scholarships offered by the institute to outstanding students who want to pursue a master’s degree in one of the 3 faculties: Engineering and design, Humanities and Social Sciences, or Science. The scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities and is based on academic merit and potential.

Amount: Provides a tuition fee waiver of GBP 5,000 for each recipient. There are 8 scholarships available in each faculty, making a total of 24 scholarships across the university. The scholarship is available for full-time taught master’s courses starting in 2024.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Deans Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship, you must:

  • Have an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time taught master’s course in one of the eligible faculties
  • Demonstrate strong academic credentials and a demonstrable background of achievement and success
  • Complete an online application form by one of the three deadlines: 23 January 2024, 24 April 2024, or 17 July 2024.

The selection of scholarship winners takes place under the supervision of a panel of academic staff from each faculty as per their academic performance, personal statement, and references. The scholarship decisions will be by 20 February 2024, 26 May 2024, or 14 August 2024 respectively.
