Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships

This scholarship programme focuses on promoting international students and doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate courses in their respective countries. This scholarship is available for students who wanted to complete their postgraduate, doctorate, or research programme.

 DAAD Scholarship Programs

Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) or the German Academic Exchange Service is a combined organisation of Germany’s higher education universities which are responsible for helping international academic relations. The main focus of the German Academic Exchange service is on the exchange of students, academics, and researchers offering scholarships to international students, graduate students, and scientists in Germany. The DAAD scholarships are given to those students who want to take admission in a full-time course. The students must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in not more than the last 6 years and they must have at least two years of work experience. The amount of the scholarship is 850€ (INR 76,992.15) monthly for postgraduate students and 1,200€ (INR 1,08,691.03) monthly for doctoral students.

 Deutschland Stipendium National Scholarship Programme

The Deutschlandstipendium National Scholarship Programme offers financial support to academically outstanding students from across the world. The scholarship programme supports students who are participating in all universities in Germany without knowing the candidate’s nationality, or personal or parental income. This scholarship is given by the universities, and applicants are required to meet the requirements of individual institutions.

The scholarship is provided for 2 semesters but it may also be valid for the time which covers the quality period of study. After both semesters, the university evaluates whether the student still meets the scholarship criteria, in order for private funding to proceed. 

The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarship

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung scholarship helps to encourage social democracy through academic financial assistance. The scholarship is available for international students who are doing their doctorate in Germany at a state-recognized university of applied sciences. The students must have above-average academic achievements. The seats are limited since 40 people per year, who are coming from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, will be applying for this scholarship programme. The candidates who will be getting the Scholarship in undergraduate courses will receive a monthly amount of 830€ (INR 75,174.05). The candidates who are pursuing their master’s degree programmes will receive 850€ (INR 76,989.60) per month as well as health insurance costs.
