Go Beyond Scholarships 

The Flinders University Go Beyond scholarships are available to international students who demonstrate excellent academic performance. The scholarship is provided to make a positive impact on the university community. The 3 Go Beyond Scholarships provided by the University are:

• The  Vice-Chancellor International Scholarship: This scholarship offers a 50% tuition fee reduction for the course duration. The financial aid is available to undergraduate applicants with a minimum ATAR of 95 or above. Postgraduate students require a minimum GPA of 6.5 or above.
• Excellence Scholarships: The Excellence Scholarship on the other hand offers a 25% tuition fee reduction and is available only to undergraduate students with a minimum ATAR of 80.
• Global Scholarships: The Global scholarships offer a 20% tuition fee reduction for the course duration. To receive this scholarship, an undergraduate student would require an ATAR 70 or more, and exceed the entry score by 5 ATAR. On the other hand, a postgraduate applicant would require a 5.0 GPA or higher.

Pathway Scholarship

The Pathway scholarship is available to new international students of any nationality. This scholarship is only available to applicants who have already completed a recognised Australian advanced diploma, diploma, or associate degree. Otherwise, you must have completed your tertiary education with a recognised Australian provider. 

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility requirements for this scholarship are as follows:

• You must be a new student with an international fee-paying status. You can be of any nationality. However, applicants from Australia and New Zealand are not eligible.
• You must have completed an Australian diploma, associate degree, advanced diploma, a Filders Pre Master’s Program, or a similar subject.
• You must have completed 1 year of education at an Australian tertiary institution. You also must have received credit for your studies at Flinders.
• You must be in Australia for on-campus study. 
• To continue this scholarship you must maintain a 4.0 GPA

Alumni Scholarship

The Alumni scholarship is available to eligible students undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate study at the university. The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee discount.  This is one of the top Flinders University scholarships for international students.

Eligibility 

The eligibility requirements for the Flinders University Scholarships for international students- FURS are as follows:

• You must be an international student who has studied an honours degree or equivalent at a university in Australia. The degree must have been completed not more than 3 years before the date of application.
• Additionally, you must have completed tertiary education of 4 years, and have a Honours 1 or high 2A undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• You must be a full-time student starting or continuing your master’s degree or doctoral degree by research at the university
• Your profile must have been accepted in the area in which you have proposed to undertake your education.

Benefit:

These FURS provide a stipend of AUD 33,990 annually (tax-free) . Additionally, you may receive a tuition fee waiver.

Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (FIPRS).

The Flinders University scholarships for international students include the FIPRS This scholarship is given to research students who meet the eligibility criteria. The scholarship offers a living allowance to the Doctoral or Master’s students, and other benefits.

Basic Eligibility 

The basic eligibility criteria for the FIPRS are as follows. The detailed requirements are provided on the official website of the university.

• Must have a research thesis/project report 
• Secure at least  85% or equivalent for the project report 
• Additionally, you must have completed 2 years of academic work
• Must have received a ranking for academic performance among the top 11-15% or higher.
• Moreover, your project must be in an area in which the university has a particular strength, has external funding and must have concentrated its research.

Benefits 

The benefit of this scholarship is a living allowance (tax-free) for 2-3 years of full-time master’s or doctoral studies. Additionally, you can receive paid sick leave, recreation, and parenting leave. You can also claim travel allowance, and relocation expenses to Adelaide.
