What is the Score Grade for a CGPA?
CGPA has grade points from 1 to 10 which are bifurcated across a particular range of marks. Indian universities use a 10-point GPA system while a 4-point GPA system is used in several countries abroad such as the UK. A CGPA often uses a uniform grading system through the bifurcation of the range of marks that can differ according to the university or the country.

How to Calculate Your CGPA?
In order to calculate your CGPA, you need to divide your percentage by 9.5 and you will get the CGPA. You can check out the below-mentioned example to get a clear idea of calculating your CGPA:
Suppose you obtained the following grades in five subjects

E | 7 |
Step 1: Add the grade points of all the 5 subjects
9+7+8+8+7 = 39
Step 2: Divide the total by no of subjects, i.e. 5
39/5 = 7.8
The CGPA of the student is 7.8

How to Convert CGPA into Percentage?
You can check out the below-mentioned example to get a clear idea of converting your CGPA into percentage;

Step 1: Add the grade points of all the 5 subjects
Add these points: 5+7+6+6+8 = 32.
Step 2: Divide the total by no of subjects, i.e. 5
Now divide by total subjects: 32/5 = 6.4
Step 3: Multiply the CGPA into 9.5
Finally multiply CGPA with a 9.5 scale: 6.4*9.5 = 60.8
So the student’s percentage is 60.8%.
