About Medhavi National Scholarship Scheme (2023)

Medhavi National Scholarship Scheme (2023) solely aims at providing financial assistance to meritorious and deserving candidates to apply for jobs, admissions, eligibility tests, and other application forms. The scheme was formulated to ensure that those who deserve better opportunities are not hampered by a dearth of sufficient funds. The scheme lives up to its endeavour by offering numerous scholarship programs to the candidates throughout the year. 

HRDM or the Human Resources Development Mission has been responsible for conducting such scholarship exams under the said scheme.  Candidates unable to procure sufficient fees for various job/other applications and registration forms can apply through the free-of-cost ‘Samadhan Test Initiative’ (branched under the Medhavi National Scholarship Scheme). 

Prospective applicants, under the said scholarship scheme, will be offered small scholarships money ranging from Rs.300 to Rs.1000 in cash form. The scholarship program is not subject to any expenditure restrictions. Candidates may spend the scholarship money however they see fit at any time.

Medhavi National Scholarship Scheme (2023) Overview

Unlike other central and state government scholarship schemes, Medhavi Scholarship Scheme is open to candidates hailing from every section of society. Not only that,  applicants belonging to any category, have finished their studies, or are preparing for competitive exams may apply for the said scholarship scheme. As of 2023, the Samadhan Scholarship Test (2023) conducted under the Medhavi National Scholarship Scheme has announced around 6358 scholarships to Indian scholars.

Samadhan Scholarship Exam Syllabus (2023)

Samadhan Scholarship Test 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The sole purpose of conducting bodies prescribing set eligibility criteria for an examination is to ascertain whether or not the candidate possesses the requisite calibre and qualification.

And the Samadhan Scholarship Test (2023), just like any other exam, comes with its own set of prescribed eligibility criteria that must be met by the applicants in order to be deemed eligible. 

In the case of the Samadhan Scholarship Test (2023), applicants must keep abreast of the requisite criteria before partaking in the said exam. Have a look at the following criteria. 

(a) Qualification: Prospective candidates must have qualified their 10th class from a recognised board. Apart from that, 11th and 12th-class pass-outs, graduates, postgraduates, and diploma-pass candidates can also apply. 

 (b) Age: The age limit for the said exam is 16 to 40 years.

Samadhan Scholarship Amount 2023

As for 2023, around 398 eligible candidates who have qualified for the Samadhan Scholarship Test, will be awarded a Type A scholarship, i.e. Rs.1000. Type B scholarship of Rs 500  will be provided to 437 deserving candidates, and 257 candidates will be awarded Type C scholarship i.e. Rs. 300.  Based on the merit list, the number of scholarships will be awarded to applicants. Unforeseen circumstances may enforce an increment or decrement in the number of received applications. 

Appearing candidates will be solely evaluated and assessed on the basis of their merit. The minimum requirement for candidates to qualify for the Samadhan Scholarship test is 40% marks.

Payment of Samadhan Scholarship to Successful Candidates:

Eligible candidates who qualify the Samadhan Scholarship Test (2023) will be provided with their scholarships once the results of the said exam are officially declared. In order to receive the awarded scholarships, candidates are required to procure the relevant and necessary credentials, including their bank account details ( bank account number and IFSC code).  

There are certain requisites that the prospective candidates must adhere to receive their scholarship money, such as: 

  1. Appearing candidates must have an active bank account with their own name only. 
  2. Candidates who have bank accounts with different names will not receive the offered scholarship money. 

Samadhan Scholarship Exam 2023 Details

Twenty multiple-choice questions will be included in the Samadhan Scholarship Exam 2023 (MCQs). Candidates taking the exam must keep in mind that the exam will be administered in both Hindi and English and will last 18 minutes. Candidates who answer incorrectly will receive a one-third penalty of the marks assigned to that question. Those who wish to take the exam must do so through the Medhavi National Scholarship Application.

Fee for Samadhan Scholarship Test:

Candidates belonging to the unreserved, OBC, SC and ST categories need to pay a registration fee of Rs.300.

How to Apply for Samadhan Scholarship 2023

  • Candidates appearing for the Samadhan Scholarship Exam (2023) must download the Medhavi National Scholarship app from their play store. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
  • Once done with that, one must fill in the requisite credentials.
  • After filling in the details, candidates are required to pay the examination fee. 
  • Forms must be submitted once the fee has been deposited. 
  •  The registration IDs will be provided to the official mail of the candidates.
