Dear Dad,

I hope you are doing well! I’ve been too busy getting ready for my semester exams, which are in one month. Given my awful grades last semester, I know you are extremely concerned about my performance. Again, I apologize for that.

I can see that up until now, I have taken everything for granted whether it’s your love, compassion, or support. I recognize that every time you used to advise me to be more serious about my academics, I always interpreted your advice differently. However, ever since I moved into the hostel and was away from home, I have realized the significance of those words of wisdom.

But it’s never too late to start afresh. I would like to tell you that I have made a schedule of studies and now sticking to it to maintain consistency. And believe me, it has worked wonders for me.
Additionally, I’ve been attending classes, working hard in my studies, and setting aside extra time to understand difficult subjects. I am pleased with the work I’ve done, and I think it shows in how well I perform.

Your unwavering encouragement and assistance have been crucial to my journey. I am grateful that you are my source of strength.

I assure you that this time my grades will be better and I won’t let you down.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours loving,
Trihaan
