The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan recently introduced Balvatika classes in a few selected KVS schools in pilot mode for students across India. Admission Process 

If you want to get your kid into class LKG admissions in Kendriya Vidyalaya, then follow these steps:

• First, complete the application form online or submit it at the nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya School.
• You are also required to prove your child’s age and place of residence along with the admission form. 
• All required documents must be photocopied, signed, and tested by a notary before submitting them to authorities. 
• You must check the official website of KVS for the latest notifications and details related to admissions, such as registration deadlines, entrance test dates, and much more. 
• You are highly recommended to confirm the application by visiting the authorities to ensure the timely and properly processed.

Eligibility Requirements 

The minimum age for admission to Balvatika-1 will be 3 years onwards. Age consideration for Balvatika classes shall be taken as of 31. 03. 2024 (A child born on 1st April will also be considered.)

Balvatika – 1	3 years but less than 4 years of age
Balvatika – 2	4 years but less than 5 years of age
Balvatika – 3	5 years but less than 6 years of age

Note: 

• The maximum age limit can be relaxed by two years in the case of children with special needs (CwSN), by the principal.

• Admission will be given as per priority category and reservation norms as mentioned in the Admission Guidelines for the year 2024-25.

• Admission will not be granted if wrong and misleading information in the application form is found at the time of scrutiny by Kendri Vidyalaya.

• Contact the Principal/Admission in charge only when called, in the given time slot.
