Summer Vacation in Jharkhand Schools
Jharkhand witnesses scorching heat during May and June. In these months, the temperature across different parts of the state ranges between 40 degrees Celcius to 45 degrees Celsius, owing to which schools remain closed for nearly 40 days in May and June. Each school has different opening and closing dates for summer holidays. However, the window for summer vacation is usually between 5 May to 20 June, each year. If the temperature increases drastically, then district and state administrations may extend the window.

Summer Vacation 2024 in Jharkhand
Summer will find plenty of exciting things to do during their Summer Vacations 2024 in Jharkhand. Students can go trekking to the lush forests of Betla National Park to spot elephants, deer, and colourful birds. Winter Vacation in Jharkhand Schools
Winters in Jharkhand are mild, owing to which winter break is for 20 days only. The break usually starts on Christmas Eve (24 December) or Christmas Day (25 December) and ends on one or two days before or after 15 January 2024.
