• The student must be a resident of Odisha.
• A U.G. degree and a minimum of 60% on the class 10+2 examination. 
• The candidate must possess a P.G. degree in Odia (Honours) with at least 60% overall.
• The candidate should be enrolled in a reputable school, a state university, or an independent degree programme.
