The full form of CA is Chartered Accountant. It is an occupational designation for professionals in the finance industry. Qualifications

  • The students are required to understand the numerous requirements for admission to the CA program
  • Students must complete their 10+2 with an overall grade of 50% from an accredited board and institution. 
  • Students must also pass the program’s required entrance exams. There is no upper age limit for program applicants.

Eligibility

The CPC programme was offered by ICAI to candidates who intended to apply for the CA degree. The CA test is only open to applicants who have registered. For CA eligibility, the following requirements must be satisfied:

  • Candidates must have passed their level 10 and level 12 qualifying exams from a recognized educational board or a test of a similar nature.
  • If a candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce and meets the minimum GPA criterion of 55%, they are eligible to sit for the CA CPT exam.
  • Candidates who have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a discipline other than commerce and a cumulative average of at least 60% are also disqualified from taking the entry-level exam.
  • After completing the CA foundation course, a candidate must work as an Article Assistant for three years before being qualified to take the CA final exam.
