The University of Pisa consists of 20 departments and high-level research centres in agriculture, physics, computer science, engineering, medicine, and veterinary medicine. Ph.D. programs are often provided and organized by departments.

Eligibility Requirements 

1. The applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree and be able to show documentation of completion. 

2. The applicant must pass the University of Pisa’s entrance examination. 

3. The applicant must have proof of English language competencies, such as IELTS/TOEFL/CPE/CFE, and other exams.

University of Pisa: Admission Process

The following are the general procedures for the University of Pisa’s online admissions process:

Step 1: Application Form: The applicant must complete the online application form available on the University of Pisa’s admission webpage. 

Step 2: Documents: After that, the applicant must provide all of the required documents for the student profile to be verified. And then wait for the university to summon you for further action. 

Step 3: Admission: Once the paperwork is in order, the applicant must take an entrance exam for the courses he or she wants to pursue. In addition, non-refundable application costs must be paid.

Step 4: Tuition Costs: If the University’s results are favourable, the student will be required to pay tuition fees and sign a contract agreement with them. 

Step 5: Reaching an agreement Finally, the student must forward the university’s completed agreement and will receive an invitation letter from them as confirmation.

Documents Required for Admission

The list of documents required for the entire admission process to the University of Pisa are the Application form,  Birth certificate, Valid Passport, Passing certificate, Bank receipt, HIV reports, Transfer and Migration certificate, Invitation letter, Caste certificate, Medical certificate, HSC and SSC mark sheet, Passport size photos, and ID proof.

University of Pisa Scholarships

To promote the University’s academic offer in English to international students, the University of Pisa awards 24 merit scholarships to international students admitted to one of the fourteen Master’s Degrees taught in English or the Bachelor’s Degree in Management Not for Business and Economics.

• The first year of study costs 6,000 euros net as well as an exemption from university fees.

• Second year of study for a Master’s degree: 8,000 euros net plus a 50% reduction in university fees if the student has completed at least 36 CFU credits with a minimum grade of 25/30.

• Second and third years of a Bachelor’s degree: 8,000 euros net plus a 50% discount on University fees if the student has completed at least 36 CFU credits in the first year and 96 CFU credits in the second year with a minimum grade of 25/30.

The scholarship will be awarded after the winners have arrived in Pisa and have applied for a residency visa and enrolled at the University of Pisa.
