Study in Canada: McEwan University Entrance Scholarships Open for Academic Year 2024-25  

The McEwan University is offering Entrance Scholarships to the newly admitted students. The scholarships are provided through the Chancellor’s Scholarship Series. The university grants Chancellor’s scholarships based on students’ previous academic achievements. The scholarship committee automatically considers students who meet the eligibility criteria for the scholarship. Hence, a separate application is not necessary. The university considers both Canadian nationals and international applicants. The beneficiaries would receive the scholarship across two terms (Fall and Winter). Moreover, automatic renewal of the scholarship is available.

Chancellor’s Scholarship Series: International Eligibility 

The Chancellor’s Scholarship eligibility criteria for international students are as follows:

  • The applicant must be an international student on a study permit 
  • Additionally, the student  must have received admission to a degree/diploma program in the fall terms 
  • With an admission average within one of the scholarship tiers

Chancellor’s Scholarship Series: International Benefits 

The Chancellors Scholarship Series is distributed in the following tiers.

Chancellor’s Scholarship Series: Selection Criteria 

The selection of beneficiaries relies on the program chosen and their admission average. In terms of the faculty of nursing, all who meet the criteria would receive the Chancellor’s scholarship. After the course begins, the university considers the rest of the students for the President’s and Provost’s Scholarships. The Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications students undergo selection based on their audition and portfolio.

Those who meet the eligibility criteria are notified in their offer letter.  Additionally, another notification will be provided to the candidates to their email address. This email would specify the amount the student would be receiving.  The Chancellor’s Scholarship is renewable as long as the student remains in MacEwan University’s degree program and maintains the GPA.
