Amba Dalmia Scholarship Program is a scholarship that assists Indian women in studying in France. Indian women who want to enroll in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Short Term program can apply for the award. The scholarship is also open to young professionals. Eligible courses include higher education in music, theatre, sports, sculpture, arts, ballet, painting, opera, photography, culinary studies, and oncology. The applications for the scholarship are expected to open on April 21st. The deadline for the scholarship is on 22 May 2024. 

Amba Dalmia Scholarship Eligibility

The eligibility requirements for the Amba Dalmia Scholarship are as follows:

  • Must be an Indian citizen and a female student/professional who has completed high school or graduated from an accredited university
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or above.
  • The applicant must have demonstrated consistently exceptional academic record
  • Moreover, the applicant must have applied to study at a higher education institution in eligible courses. 
  • The scholarship committee give preference to candidates who know French.  However, it is not a mandatory requirement.
  • Beneficiaries of any French Government Scholarship or Erasmus Mundus scholarship are not eligible to apply. 

Amba Dalmia Scholarship Benefits 

The benefits of the Amba Dalmia Scholarship program are as follows. Note; this is a nonrenewable scholarship.

  • Visa fee waiver and tuition fee waiver for studying in France 
  • Additionally, a monthly stipend is given towards the living expenses.
  • Moreover, the scholarship is applicable for 1 year or for the duration of the project undertaken in France. 

Interested students can apply for the scholarship before the deadline. This will be an online application, and students will have to submit their CV, passport, photograph, educational qualifications, proof of unconditional acceptance to the university, No Objection Certificate, etc. The selection process consists of a telephone interview or a Skype interview along with an online application.
