Study Abroad: Sharjah Ruler Approves 2,005 New Scholarships for Academic Year 2023-2024

Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi has introduced a total of 2,005 new scholarships to study at various universities and in different programs in UAE. Students can make the best use of this opportunity as undergraduate applications for universities across the Emirates are open.

Out of this, 1,600 scholarships are for undergraduate students at the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah. These are introduced for the upcoming academic year, which is 2023-2024.

Also, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) is the concerned authority receiving applications for these scholarships. Moreover, applications for all students studying in the Emirates are open till the 17th of August 2023.

Furthermore, students at the University of Khorfakkan (UoKH) will be eligible for 305 scholarships. As part of this scheme, the scholarship committee will transfer 70 students to the University of Kalba with the scholarship grant. Lastly, 100 scholarships are also for the students of the University of Kalba (UoK).

The universities will offer scholarships based on the study requirements of the enrolled students. The esteemed ruler of the state has introduced scholarships that cover various study programs offered at these universities.
