Duolingo Daily Topic: Speaking Task 3 (Speak about the image for about 90 seconds)

Q1. Speak about the photo for about 90 seconds.

Ans: The image portrays two individuals who are engrossed in the task of sculpturing. The statue seems like it is still in progress and both of them are trying to give it more details to convert it into a fine piece of art. One worker, clad in a red shirt and an apron, seems to be actively engaged in the process of carving the issue. The other worker, dressed in blue, appears to be observing or assisting in the process. They are surrounded by construction materials, suggesting that it is an outdoor workspace.

Q 2. Speak about the photo for about 90 seconds.

Ans: The image captures two passersby who seem to be deeply engrossed in the contemplation of a large monochromatic portrait of an elderly person, that is hanging on a white wall. The portrait has intricate detailing and looks like it was made with charcoal pencil. The portrait of the individual wears glasses, giving little depth to the picture. The viewers are standing side by side, their silhouettes casting a soft shadow on the floor. Everything about the surroundings is simple and sober, accentuating the artwork’s complexity.
