Boston University Need-Based Scholarships

At BU, several students are offered scholarships who fulfil the conditions specified in the financial aid instructions of the university. A student must fulfil all of the requirements listed in this category, such as;

  • Their parental contribution must be calculated from income and assets.
  • Students must have a minimum contribution from their earnings; and student employment.
  • 25% of the student’s accumulated savings and other assets.

Boston University Merit-Based Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships at BU are available in multiple variations, which cover the tuition fees, cost of living and other academics-related expenses. This scholarship is only offered to students enrolled in the College of Engineering at BU who have participated in any season of the FIRST Robotics team. FIRST Scholars are also offered funding for participation in research programs under the College of Engineering for up to 10 hours per week during their first two years.
