Types of Prepositions for Class 9

There are several different types of prepositions in English grammar. These include:

✅ Simple prepositions:  All the prepositions that are made up of a single word. For example “on,” “in,” “at,” “by,” “with,” and “for.”

Compound prepositions: Prepositions that are made up of two or more words. For example “in front of,” “on top of,” “out of,” and “according to.”
