Eligibility Criteria for the CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship
To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be a female student from an eligible minority community.
- Be a permanent resident of Kerala and studying in a Kerala-based government or aided institution.
- Be enrolled in a degree, PG, or professional program.
- Have scored at least 50% marks in the last qualifying exam.
- Have an annual family income of less than INR 8 lakh.
- Hold a valid bank account in any nationalized/scheduled bank.

Online Registration
The step-by-step process for applying for the CH Muhammad Koya Scholarship is given below.
- Visit www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in
- Select the CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship (CHMS) from the list.
- Click on Apply Online.
- Fill in the registration form with exam roll number, course details, and personal information.
- Upload scanned documents (under 100 KB each).
- Apply and take a printout.
Offline Submission
Attach the printed application with the required documents. Submit it to the Head of Institution for verification and approval.
