CG School Scholarship 2023-24: Last Date

The last date to apply for the CG School Scholarship for Post-Matric students is 20 October 2023. While the last dates to apply for other scholarships have not been announced yet, the general application period for the same is mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria that students applying for CG School Scholarship need to satisfy:

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students The candidate must be:
Studying at pre-matric level.
Having an annual family income of less than INR 2 lakh.
Rajya Chatra Vritti Scheme The applicant must be:
Either SC/ST girl students studying in Classes 3-5 or SC/ST/OBC students in Classes 6-8.
Not fall under the Income Tax
Not possessing more than 10 acres of land
Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students The applicant must:
Have annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakh (for SC/ST applicants) and INR 1 lakh (for OBC applicants).
Studying at the post-matriculation level.
Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana The applicant must be:
A girl student
Studying in Class 5 or above
Unclean Business Scholarship Scheme The applicants must be:
Students studying in Classes 1 – 5.
Having families working in the following occupations: Scavenging families, Flayer families, Tanners, and Waste picking/ collecting families.
Chief Minister Gyan Protsahan Initiative Scheme The applicant must be:
A student of Class 10 or 12
Meritorious student in their previous qualifications.
Must be studying in either of these state boards: CGBSE, CBSE, or ICSE
Disabled Scholarship Scheme The applicant must be:
A regular student of a school.
40% (or more) disabled.
Having a family income of less than INR 8,000 per month.

CG School Scholarship: Amount

So far, the Chhattisgarh Government has distributed INR 165 crore worth of CG scholarships to around 2,75,000 students. This investment is 5-6 times significantly larger as compared to previous years. Here’s how much amount eligible students receive under this scheme:
